THE NATURAL WAY TO CLEAN AIR

YOU DESERVE CLEAN AND FRESH AIR

We spend 90% of our time indoors therefore the indoor air quality is crucial to our health and wellbeing. But the indoor air is up to 5 times more polluted than outdoor air.

One of the sources to toxic pollution indoors are Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), present in off-gassing from building materials, furniture, toys, electronics, clothes, cosmetics etc. One of these is the well-known toxic chemical formaldehyde.

At the same time, dry air is an increasing problem in modern ventilated buildings.

THE CONSEQUENCES ARE NUMEROUS

We can all get sick, but babies, children, elderly and sick people are more likely to suffer from the consequences of a polluted and dry indoor climate.

  • VOC’s cause allergies, asthma, headaches, unexplainable sickness and fatigue, increased risk of cancer and endocrine disruptions.
  • Dry air (below 30 % RH) cause irritated eyes, nose, throat and skin. Viruses spread and thrive in dry air, causing colds and influenza.

Acceptable levels of VOC:

VOC’s measured as TVOC*
below 300 ppb

Formaldehyde
below 0,01 mg/m3 **
(many countries now recommend a lower level).

Indoor air humidity level is comfortable
between 35-55 %RH***

AIRPLANT
– THE NATURAL SOLUTION

The Airplant product provides you with a healthy indoor climate in a natural and sustainable way:

  • By actively reducing the VOC’s, reducing the risk of severe illness for you and your loved ones.
  • By actively controlling the humidity level, reducing the risk of sickness due to viruses and increase health and wellbeing.

Plants purify air naturally but normally a single plant is not very efficient.

WHAT IS AIRPLANT?

Airplant increases the air purification capacity of a single plant up to 10 times. This is done by combining nature with technology enhancing the performance of the plant.

A patent pending system, optimizes the natural processes in the plant, breaking down the toxic chemicals into smaller elements obtained as nutrients in the plant itself.

There are no filters to expose and no toxic waste remaining when using Airplant. Actually, it is also more effective than a conventional filter-based system.

Removes harmful chemicals

Airplant reduces the level of harmful airborne chemicals in your indoor environment. The system removes up to 90% of individual chemicals, leaving you with clean air to breathe. The effect differs depending on plant species, so the effect towards specific chemicals will depend on the air purifying capability of the specific plant.

Adjusts humidity level

Airplant also provides the feature of adjusting the humidity level in your environment automatically using internal or external humidity sensors. This is a feature already part of the system.

Self-watering

Airplant will water your plant when needed. Just add water to the system when the Airplant App or your building management system notifies you. It is self-contained up to four weeks, depending on plant type.

Easy control and maintenance

Airplant is “on-line,” using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to inform you of product status. It can interface with climate monitors and building management systems enabling automatic control of operation.

Works with your choice of plant

Airplant can be used with a wide range of plants and can be configured to the specific plant of your choice. It makes sure the plant is watered according to specific needs and thereby well-maintained.
